The Master’s Degree Course in Industrial Bioengineering belongs to the Degree Class in Biomedical Engineering (LM-21).
The training course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to translate recent discoveries in the pharmaceutical, medical and biotechnological fields into the development of safe, effective and customizable therapeutic strategies and diagnostic systems.
The course is based on three main pillars, namely Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering and Nanomedicine.
The lessons are organized to cover different aspects of Industrial Engineering (mechanics, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, materials science and technology) which are integrated with a fundamental knowledge of biology and medicine.
Graduates pursue successful careers in the prosthetics, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and academia sectors.
